Twelve surprising coffee cocktails
The world of coffee and the art of mixology are very different. Yet, over the years, some cocktails have emerged featuring coffee as a fundamental ingredient. Only a deep understanding of this raw material allows for creating the right combinations and giving life to balanced cocktails, characterized by harmony and contrasts.
Years of study and experimentation have enabled our Barista Trainer, Denis Dzekulic, to refine the recipes you find in these pages.
Designed for use in the comfort of your home, they are also perfectly suited to more dynamic coffee shops, ready to surprise their customers with extraordinary preparations. The cocktails each present a strong, elegant, and refined flavour, in which coffee is an integral and successful ingredient, but is not the protagonist. It is rather a companion, capable of giving the cocktail personality and character.
Vaniglia Coffee Delicious
Ingredients
Coffee
Vanilla ice cream
Chocolate topping
Baileys
Cream
Preparing
Prepare the coffee beverage and let it cool.
Decorate the inner walls of the glass with chocolate topping.
Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream, pour 35 ml of moka coffee or 25 ml of intense ristretto espresso, and 20 ml of Baileys.
Finish with a dollop of whipped cream.
Garnish with chocolate topping.
For this cocktail, we recommend using Biondo, our lightly roasted blend.
Iced Coffee Orange Juice
Ingredients
Coffee
Freshly squeezed orange juice
Ice
Vodka
Rosemary
Preparing
Prepare the coffee and let it cool. Place ice in the glass, add freshly squeezed orange juice, and 15 ml of vodka.
Pour 35 ml of moka coffee or 25 ml of intense ristretto espresso. Garnish with rosemary.
For this cocktail, we recommend using Linea Oro, our blend designed to meet the quality needs of household consumption.
Grog Coffee History

Dark rum
Lime juice
Brown sugar
Water
Cinnamon
Preparing
Prepare the coffee. In a saucepan, pour 400 ml of water and 40 grams of brown sugar, and bring to a boil.
Remove the saucepan from heat and add 40 ml of dark rum, 40 ml of freshly squeezed lime juice, and finally, 35 ml of moka coffee or 25 ml of intense ristretto espresso.
Stir everything together. Pour into a cup, garnishing with a slice of lime and a cinnamon stick.
For this cocktail, we recommend using Arabica Blend, a selection of Arabica coffee for true connoisseurs.
Irish Coffee
Ingredients
Coffee
Irish Whiskey
Brown sugar
Liquid cream
Cocoa powder
Preparing
Prepare the coffee. In a saucepan, pour 40 ml of Irish Whiskey and two tablespoons of brown sugar. Heat it up gently, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
Pour this mixture into a glass along with 35 ml of moka coffee or 25 ml of intense ristretto espresso. Dust it with cocoa powder, and finally, pour the liquid cream very slowly.
For this cocktail, we recommend using Linea Rossa, our blend created while taking into consideration the needs of household consumption.
Amaretto Cioccolato
Ingredients

Almond milk
Amaretto liqueur
Powdered chocolate mix
Amaretti cookies
Cream
Preparing
Prepare the coffee. In a saucepan, pour 250 ml of almond milk and a packet of powdered chocolate mix. Place it over low heat and stir.
Add 40 ml of Amaretto liqueur, and finally, 35 ml of moka coffee or 25 ml of intense ristretto espresso to create a low-density mixture. Pour into a glass, add the cream, and garnish with amaretti cookies.
For this cocktail, we recommend using Ethiopia LTD ED, our CSC-certified single-origin coffee beans.
Bombardino
Ingredients
Coffee
Eggnog liqueur
Brandy
Whipped cream
White chocolate shavings
Cocoa powder
Preparing (2 People)
Prepare the coffee. In a saucepan, pour 120 ml of eggnog liqueur and gently heat it up. Add 40 ml of brandy while stirring.
Pour this mixture into a glass. Add 35 ml of moka coffee or 25 ml of intense ristretto espresso and cover with whipped cream.
Garnish with cocoa powder and white chocolate shavings.
For this cocktail, we recommend using Espresso di piantagione CSC®, our blend of selected Arabica coffees certified by CSC®.
